Anglia Courier Express, an East Midlands-based courier operator, has chosen DA Systems to supply a package of mobile data and fleet tracking resources to help improve the efficiency of its national fleet of 60 delivery vans and lorries.

The package is said to have replaced an outdated system that was no longer able to cope with the company's complex operational demands and rapid growth plans.

The products it has taken are Advanced Courier Interface, NX Mobile Data and Fleet Tracking solutions.

According to Jon Jenkinson at Anglia Courier: 'We chose DA Systems as its multi-functional, proven technologies matched our dynamic approach to business and will provide a great platform for our future growth.'

 

DA Systems' applications manage back-office activities and deliver instant communications, location and historical journey information between the companies' operational offices and their delivery vehicles.

* Two other courier companies have announced that they are using a broadly similar package of products from DA Systems. They are Crisis Courier Solutions of Northampton and Crown Couriers.
