'Build your own apps' feature in latest CommonTime package for Notes

The latest corporate application from CommonTime for Lotus Notes users 'is set to revolutionise the world of Lotus Notes corporate mobility,' the company says. It claims that mSuite5 is the most complete and integrated Lotus Notes mobility solution on the market.

One of the key features is that mSuite5 gives users their own mobile application development capability, so that they can add their own functionality to the basic system. Two new business applications, mExpenses and mTimesheet, are included free with the new version, and users can create their own along similar lines.

mTimesheet and mExpenses are no mere demonstration programs, but useful applications in their own right, and are designed to be integrated with existing work-flow systems.

mExpenses allows costs to be logged and approved in a single process, with no need for workers to return to the office to deposit multiple receipts. mTimesheet allows hours to be logged, even if staff are out of the office for weeks at a time.

mSuite is a scalable solution handling up to 3,000 users per mSuite server. The latest version supports Windows Mobile Pocket PC/Professional and smartphone/standard devices, including Windows Mobile 6 and Nokia devices running Symbian Series 60 3rd edition.
