Currie International fits tracking across its trailer fleet
![]() Currie European, the Dundee-based international transport, logistics and warehousing specialist, has placed one of the year's biggest vehicle tracking contracts of the year. It is fitting a system from Masternaut Three X in all 420 of its trailers, and the 80 motive vehicles that it owns. Some trailers are pulled by contractors. The company is also to fit the MasterCold solution on its refrigerated units. This takes advantage of Masternaut hardware to eliminate the need for conventional temperature recorders and data loggers. The company says that fitting a tracking system will enable it to gain greater control of costs through improved visibility of vehicles and trailers, whether they are in the UK or on the Continent. Steve Walls, Currie's business systems director, says the system should also contribute to the company's service performance. It integrates with a Microsoft Dynamics' CRM system, which has been supplied by Masternaut Three X Business Solutions
