Customise your Orange mobile forms
Customers who subscribe to Orange's Mobile Forms service can now customise the package, and as the company puts it, 'make it their own solution.' As examples, Orange suggests that surveyors working remotely who need to prove the state of a building, road or vehicle can now take a photograph with the camera on their device, attach it to a form and quickly send back the evidence. The system can do the same thing with GPS tracking, logging the position of the device and sending it back to the office. There is also an option to customise the forms with company logos, so that they can be delivered in the same format as documents sent directly from the office. Mobile Forms is an Internet-based service that allows mobile workers to create and use forms on mobile devices. No integration with external IT systems is required, the company says, so users can be up and running within 48 hours of registration. The Mobile Forms system itself costs anything from £15 per user per month, and each additional feature is available at an extra £5.
