If you're using (or thinking of using) Anoto's Digital Pen and Paper technology in a field sales environment, you might be interested in an application called Salespen that has been developed specifically for this market.

It is from Meticulus, a specialist in the Anoto market. Its new product has already has been certified by Salesforce.com, a leader in on-demand customer relationship management services.

The Salespen application enables the mobile salesforce to capture computer data directly using a smart pen and paper. The data can be sent back to base in real time using a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.

The digital pen technology takes care of actually recording what is being written on forms printed with Anoto's special dot pattern. The Salespen application provides advanced forms processing capability to large enterprise customers.

 

The company says its solutions go beyond basic data capture, and are tightly integrated with its customers' enterprise systems and business processes.
