More than thirty telematics suppliers in one place
More than 30 suppliers in the telematics market will be brought together when they exhibit in a specialist 'IT zone' for the first time at next year's Commercial Vehicle Show at the National Exhibition Centre. The aim of the organisers is to ensure that visitors spend more time on stands and less time searching out the right IT and telematics providers. In past years, telematics suppliers' stands have been quite widely dispersed over several halls, making it harder for visitors to compare and contrast their systems in a productive way, or even to find all of them during a single visit. Among telematics suppliers who have already confirmed their presence in this zone are Blue Tree Systems, Cybit, Globalive, Isotrak, Minorplanet and TomTom Work. Cybit's Graham Gordon comments that the new IT zone 'is a familiar concept to us, as it is widely used in Europe.' The event will be held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham from 28-30 April 2009.
