VoiteQ, the leading supplier of voice-directed warehousing solutions, and Cirrus Logistics, a leading supplier of simulation and optimisation solutions, have come under joint ownership. A new holding company, CentriQ, has been formed under chairman Frank Heald and chief executive David Stanhope.

Cirrus specialises in warehouse and logistics industry simulation, so makes a logical fit with VoiteQ, though it is also active in other markets such as port management.

The two companies will retain their separate identities, but joint products are expected to be developed, for instance combining Cirrus's CLASS warehouse modelling and simulation tool with VoiteQ's voice-directed warehouse solutions.
