Editorial coverage

We cover handheld terminals and PDAs; laptop computers; mobile voice and data communications; on-board computers; telematics and in-cab navigation systems; wireless networking; RFID; vehicle and asset tracking, location and management; data capture and synchronisation; routing, scheduling and digital mapping; and field service support. We give equal emphasis to hardware, systems, strategy and implementation.

Business sense, consumer style

We think there are enough dry business magazines out there already, so we take our own distinct line. Alongside essential industry news, in-depth features and real-life case studies, we include plenty of lively product reports and hands-on reviews. We think this technology is FUN and our aim is to convince you of it, too!

 

Editorial policy

m.logistics is editorially-led, and committed to high-quality content and design. Our editorial is created in-house or provided by specialists in their fields.

Geographical scope

Our primary focus is the UK, but we also provide regular updates showing how they do things in other countries.

Editorial submissions

We encourage news and press releases from all sources, which can be accepted in hard copy, fax or emailed form (emails preferred – use editorial@mlogmag.com). These are carefully evaluated and processed prior to use in the magazine. Please see Contact us page for details.

We can consider more extensive tailored editorial contributions, particularly case studies, but you should contact us before preparing one-off pieces to agree on suitability, content, parameters and style.

We also have limited opportunities for opinionated pieces, usually of 500 words, from commentators or industry leaders. Please contact us to check suitability and availability of slots.

Product evaluations

We run regular new product evaluations, and are keen to talk to suppliers about loan of devices or access for hands-on experience of them.

Promotional opportunities

Whilst we never trade off editorial coverage against advertising, and aim to report industry developments even-handedly, if there is equal merit in competing feature proposals, we reserve the right to give preference to companies who support our magazine by advertising. Publishing is expensive, and someone has to pay for it!

We accept paid-for "advertorials" on the same basis as other display advertising, providing the text is identifiably different from our own editorial. We will also consider sponsorship such as of editorial pages or sections, providing it is "content-neutral" in terms of the relationship between sponsor and subject matter. The sponsored content is printed sight-unseen.
