Traderman mobilises with Controlforce
Traderman Systems, one of the UK's leading providers of transport and warehouse management systems, has chosen m-Go technology from mobile infrastructure developer Controlforce to add a mobile dimension to its FreightDesk traffic management system. The enhanced version of the product is called FreightDesk Mobile. The development will allow data from real-time vehicle tracking and proof of delivery gathering to be integrated into the FreightDesk package. Traderman managing director Shaun Coghlin says benefits will include the opportunity for users to re-route vehicles on demand, and will introduce more seamless product traceability. He says customer service and driver utilisation will also be improved. The collaborative agreement signed with ControlForce "is another step in our programme to work more closely with suppliers of complementary technology," Coghlin says, adding: "We are already talking to potential clients keen to benefit from the efficiencies and savings now available." ControlForce specialises in software design and development aimed at simplifying mobile system solutions, and actively encourages best-of-breed deals with third-party developers.
