Aspective launches GPRS for IBM Lotus
Readers using IBM's WebSphere Everyplace Access (WEA) mobile application platform can now migrate to GPRS to access corporate applications from PDAs and smartphones. Aspective, a leading e-business solutions specialist, has become the first European integrator to offer encrypted wireless access service to Lotus Notes and Domino 6 applications. Aspective has also teamed up with modem specialist Novatel Wireless to offer the Merlin G201 wireless PC card modem. The Merlin G201 allows fast, secure transfer of wireless data on GSM/GPRS networks, providing access to email, corporate applications and the Internet using both PCs and PDAs.
