Infra-red keyboard for your PDA
A fold-up full-sized QWERTY keyboard that connects to PDA devices (Pocket PC and Palm) by infra-red link has been launched by Canadian manufacturer Pocketup Computer Corporation, and is available in Britain through Widget UK. It is said to be the first keyboard to offer wireless connection to PDAs. The keyboard folds just once into a package roughly the same size as a PDA. It is said to allow normal touch typing, and to support nearly all mainstream text input applications. An unusual feature is that the supplied software drivers allow some PDAs to be used in landscape format to increase the amount of text visible on screen. It is priced at £68 from Widget.
