Supply chain specialist Mnetics has unveiled a new suite of mobile data network applications called Mobility that make possible real-time data communication between central systems and remote workers.

Each solution includes the mobile device and application, data communications and a user interface. Costs start from £130 per user per month.

Mobility can be implemented either as a fully customised solution using Mobility Enterprise or through one of four pre-configured, off-the-shelf modules - Collection & Delivery, Sales & Fulfilment, Field Service, and Mobile Stock/Inventory Control.

The applications are Windows-based and support a variety of communication protocols including GPRS, RF, GSM and SMS. Field data is transferred to secure servers either through the company's host system or over the Internet.
