Maple adds overnight parts ordering
Vehicle security installation engineers working for Maple Fleet Services can now use the company's Automanage Remote software to order parts overnight. Maple developed Auto Manager Remote to improve the efficiency of its own mobile service engineers, and says faster response to urgent customer requests has been one of the main benefits since it was introduced in 2002. The software allows engineers to access full customer details, specifications and service history, which has speeded up fault diagnosis. Calls are prioritised and colour-coded by Auto Manager so the engineer knows which are the most urgent. The overnight parts ordering capability includes key parts for emergency jobs as well as replenishing stock held in the engineer's van.
