American radio frequency identification tag manufacturer Samsys has teamed up with UK supply chain software and hardware company Microlise and Dutch wireless data-capture equipment specialist Scanology.

Microlise supplies turnkey supply-chain solutions, and RFID product manager Vic Bradhsaw believes RFID will provide further efficiencies. Scanology will fit Samsys's RFID reader hardware into terminals used for job processing, workflow management, tracking and tracing operations and warehouse management throughout Europe

Samsys offers a selection of reader solutions including standard frequency-specific modules, custom-made application-specific reader systems and OEM modules aimed at providing tailored solutions for a wide variety of supply chain management applications.

The range spans low- frequency, high-frequency and UHF, and supports a very broad range of protocols.
