Intermec speeds up application development
Fast application development is becoming a must-have for mobile handheld manufacturers. Intermec is the latest company to recognise the trend, and has signed a worldwide partnership deal with MCL Technologies, a developer of rapid applications and communication software tools. The first collaboration is on the Intermec's new 700 Series Color mobile computers (m.logistics, November/December), but in future MCL's MCL-Collection software development suite will be available for additional Intermec mobile computers and terminals. Users of the MCL Collection with other devices can now port it directly to Intermec's Color 700 mobile computers.
