End-to-end trailer tracking from TMC
What is described as an end-to-end fleet management software package has been launched by TMC Innovations, the company behind the Susie-Track trailer tracking and tracing system. Whereas Susie-Track is offered through a network of suppliers of telematics solutions, the new FleetFacts system is being promoted as a complete solution in itself. The system offers trailer position and status monitoring, plus customised features such as geofencing, along with clear back-office mapping and event reports. To help develop and promote the system, TMC has recruited Keith Dixon to the newly-created position of technical sales manager for the UK and Eire. He was previously with Encrypta, which was know best for the Crypta range of electronic door security sealing products, and had been working informally for TMC for the past year and a half.
