Computer giant Fujitsu has become a reseller of the mobile solutions developed by Orsus Solutions. It says it will be looking for potential users in a wide range of vertical markets such as utilities, retail, government, telecommunications and financial services.

According to Matt Roderick, a senior consultant at Fujitsu Consulting: "We were looking for a technology partner that could provide us with a strong but flexible package to help take our mobile strategy to market, as we didn't want to waste time putting together too many pieces of the puzzle ourselves."

He adds that the big software players "were quite weak in this area," and that their solutions posed a high risk.

Orsus' Mobile Framework system contains a full set of tools ranging from design, development to debugging and deployment.
