Optygate mobile solution offers implementation in two weeks
Small or medium-sized businesses wanting to set up a mobile computing system that integrates with an existing back office system, you might be attracted by a new software package from French developer Optygate. The company says its new solution, Mobty, is ideal for this purpose. It claims the entire the development and integration of the solution can be carried out in a remarkable time span of less than two weeks, and that it calls for no modifications to the user-company's existing systems. Mobty is compatible with a with range of ERP and database systems, the company says (it names Navision, Sage, Oracle and Apisoft). The package includes development tools and an interface to manage mobile terminals, security and backup options. Optygate offers a range of mobile computing solutions, allowing the integration of portable terminals (industrial terminals, PDA, Laptops) with corporate systems via Wi-Fi, radio frequency, GPRS or GSM. The Mobty system is designed specifically for use with Internet and GPRS communications in mind.
