Impartial handheld integrator
If you're buying handheld PCs, where better to start your search than a company called Handheld PCs? At any rate, that's the hope of the team behind this new venture. They say the company's aim is to deliver fast, reliable and cost-effective wireless solutions for business. They're backing this up with what they say is extensive market knowledge, coupled with strategic partnerships with mobile operators, device manufacturers and application software developers. According to Pierre Lams, co-founder and head of strategic alliances, many companies which want to embrace wireless technology "are overwhelmed by the number of devices and software applications available." He says his company is able to remain impartial. "The minute Handheld PCs is engaged we take the pain away - from identifying the business requirement to training staff." The company says that in its build-up phase it has already gained clients such as Network Rail, London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Volume, Westminster City Council and Hobbs.
