T-Mobile was the winner in the m-commerce category (supported by m.logistics) at this year's Information Management Awards. The organisation was honoured for the success of its mobile workforce management solution, which was developed in association with technology partner Aspective.

The runner-up, Network365, was commended for its NTT DoCoMo deployment, mounted in conjunction with Hewlett Packard.

T-Mobile's roll-out of the Aspective mobile workforce solution was praised for having improved network uptime and increased the efficiency of T-Mobile's field engineers. It has replaced a paper-based system, allowing processes engineers to use mobile devices running over T-Mobile's own GPRS network.
