New drivers start here

You can help new drivers find their way around - literally and metaphorically - with a new system launched by Masternaut, the vehicle tracking and fleet management specialist.

It's called Virtual Assistant, and basically it extends Masternaut's existing portfolio by feeding job details directly to drivers via a PDA in the cab. The system draws together GPS navigation, electronic job despatch and data collection as part of a Web-based service linked with direct to Pocket PCs or smart-phones.

Collection and delivery work is scheduled and sequence-routed with Masternaut's TourSolver and M-Schedule systems, and details are then transmitted to the vehicle by GPRS.

  • Masternaut has also introduced an email reporting system, under which on the exact movements of any vehicle, including the exact times of arrival and departure from sites, is delivered to the operator automatically.
