Speedmail International, a London-based subsidiary of Deutsche Post World Net, has chosen the Sat3 vehicle tracking system Wire3 Technologies to provide real-time tracking of its London-based delivery and collection fleet.

Speedmail is one of the new generation of businesses granted a long-term postal licence under the UK's deregulated postal regime. To ensure a high level of service, the company and wanted a system that could provide updates on the location of its vehicles every minute. It is said to have been attracted by Sat3's fixed running-cost feature, and by the ability to view reports online at any time.
