Vision Express has implemented a warehouse management system using a radio-frequency picking solution from mobile solutions specialist RangeGate to streamline the operations of its national distribution centre.

It is said to have increased pick productivity by a further 25 per cent over a previous RF-based scanning system, producing an overall 60 per cent improvement over paper. There has also been a 30 per cent improvement in goods-in productivity.
