A mobile sales suite for PDAs and smartphones has been added to the software range offered by Orsus Solutions. Known as Orsus Mobile Sales, it comes pre-packaged and ready-integrated with commonly-deployed enterprise business applications such as Siebel, Clarify and SAP, and a key sales feature is the fact that can be rolled out quickly by users of such systems.

Orsus reckons that the complexity of integrating mobile solutions with specific back-end systems slows down the time it typically takes to deploy for most mobile solutions. This new package is intended to short-circuit that process.

The system is platform-independent, and supports a variety of mobile devices including Pocket PCs, BlackBerry wireless handhelds and smartphones.

Its key features include account and activity management, contact management, opportunity management, sales order management, alerts management, document routing and direction-finding.
