Spirit Data Capture, the Cheshire-based data capture specialist, has been awarded the status of Power Partner by HHP, the leading data collection system company. HHP products will also be supported by a sister-company to Spirit, Intelligent Support, which focuses on providing customer care services , including maintenance and repairs, for mobile computers and other data capture devices.

Spirit was set up earlier this year, and is a successor to the earlier Commitment UK businesses. It is headed by managing director Ebbie Khadem, who was previously HHP's European sales and marketing director. It also continues to offer the Czech-produced Gotive range of handheld terminals.
