Sentrio looks for UK expansion
A bid for the UK's mobile computing and field service market is being mounted by Dublin-based Sentrio, which has recently been selected by O2 in Ireland to provide a mobile computing solution there. The ten-year old company has a strong client list in its own country, where users include Unilever Best Foods, Ballygowan and Glenpatrick Water Coolers. Various vertical market solutions are offered for mobile applications that include delivery work, engineering, mobile sales, and data-gathering and research. The company says key selling points include its speed of implementation and clear pricing structure. As the company's Conar Twomey told us: "We offer a clear-cut pay-as-you-go proposition that includes full installation in half a day. The resulting service offers a range of functionality such as real-time PODs for an all-in price of just £40 per vehicle per month."
