BlackBerry options for T-Mobile

T-Mobile is offering customers two additional BlackBerry handheld devices from Research in Motion - the 7290 (a colour version of the "classic" unit, with splayed QWERTY keyboard), and the 7100t (a sleeker PDA-like unit).

Both offer the established range of BlackBerry features, such as "push" email, phone, SMS messaging, Internet browsing, calendar and contacts management and corporate data applications.

The new devices also offer Bluetooth support for wireless networking, increased internal memory, and quad-band support for international roaming.

The units may be free, or cost up to £156, depending on price plan. Options include virtually unlimited access to Internet email accounts from £10 per month (including VAT), which includes a half-megabyte browsing allowance.
