Compaddress streamlines service planning with 360 system
Service management systems specialist Compaddress has integrated an advanced scheduling engine into its 2Serv suite, and says it should help users to forecast and predict demand more accurately, to understand work loads better and to plan more effectively for scheduled maintenance, making the most of skills and available engineer resources. The company has chosen scheduling and resource optimisation software from 360 Technologies, whose Dynamic Scheduling Engine system is said to be able to provide predictive deployment, demand forecasting, performance analysis and workforce optimisation for field service organisations of any size. The company claims that users with anything from dozens to thousands of engineers can save up to 20 per cent in costs by using the system. Compaddress's 2Serv product suite is understood to be in use with a wide variety of businesses in fields ranging from IT maintenance to leisure equipment. The company says it was looking for a scaleable best-of-breed scheduling engine.
