Skillweb, the software house specialising in mobile solutions, has signed a partnership agreement with Belgravium, the portable computer and data capture specialist. Under the deal, Skillweb is offering Belgravium products as a platform for its mobile solutions software from this June.

The deal is significant in marking Belgravium's awareness of the growing opportunities presented by the mobile computing market. As Belgravium managing director Mike Turner explains: "We have traditionally focused upon the fixed-site warehouse sector, but find that our range is rapidly gaining popularity within operations requiring mobile applications, such as proof of delivery.

He adds: "We needed a credible partner in order to offer a complete package to these prospective new clients." Skillweb's range of solutions includes its ePOD proof-ofelivery system, which is built round handheld terminals such as Belgravium's.
