Hosted vehicle routing and scheduling has been added to the Dispatch Dynamic fleet management system from VSc Solutions. VSc is one of the handful of suppliers offering both mobile solutions and comprehensive logistics and supply-chain management capabilities within a single suite of products.

The routing and scheduling is being supplied on a fully-hosted basis by a specialist company well known in this field. VSc prefers not to name it at this stage, but we can confirm that it is a well established company that most users would recognise.

Operators pay for the service on a per-use basis (according to order and route) - an unusual pricing model that VSc believes will make it accessible to users who might have baulked at the cost of setting up their own system. VSc itself will help with the initial setup process, which is always vital to the success of any scheduling system.

The company emphasises that users can "cherry-pick" those routes and orders they wish to schedule, and thereby avoid incurring costs unnecessarily.
