Belgravium launches RFID gate reader/writer
UK data capture specialist Belgravium has added an RFID (radio frequency identification) 'gate reader/writer' to its product range. This is the kind of device users might position on a production line or at a goods loading bay to interrogate tags or write data to them. Belgravium says its Long Range Reader/Writer can handle all tags meeting the ISO15693 standard at 13.56 MHz, even if the product is liquid-based or is located at the centre of a palletised stack. It conforms to both FCC and CE standards, and can therefore be used throughout Europe, North America and other region, the company says. Two LRP2000 antennas can be connected together to complete a 'gate' configuration offering a 2.5 metre wide reading distance between the two opposing antennas. Up to four LRP2000 antennas can be networked together for dock door applications.
