Working time compliance added to 360 resource planning
Working time tracking has been added to the scheduling and resource optimisation software offered by 360 Technologies. The company says this will ensure that companies with mobile workers such as service engineers keep in step with new working time regulations and their administration. 360's software keeps track of the hours worked by individual engineers and automatically alerts the central system when limits are exceeded, preventing them from being allocated further jobs. The regulations demand compliance with weekly working time and night work limits, and every business has to determine what records need to be kept for this purpose. The company points out that calculations can be quite complicated and difficult to administer - especially in businesses where working hours are irregular and are determined by external demands. The software specifically aims to help companies with this kind of problem. According to 360 managing director Laurent Othacéhé: 'We have designed our system to - provide real-time monitoring and feeds to the central system that make it easy for an organisation to operate and demonstrate compliance with the regulations.'
