Do you fancy a colourful semi-rugged laptop computer like this? Well, unless you're in America you may not be able to get one. It's the Hummer, and has been developed by Itronix to capture some of the glamour that now attaches to GM's Hummer range of vehicles. It's currently being offered only in the US. However, you can get the same features in Itronix's new VR-1 range, whose launch marks the company's entry into the semi-rugged sector, currently dominated by Panasonic. It's not quite as tough as existing Go-Books, but you can drop it or take it into a cold store, and it's also fast and user-friendly.
