NetDespatch mobilises with Cognito
NetDespatch, the leading online job booking and tracking specialist, has announced a relationship with Cognito, the mobile data provider, to extend its capabilities more fully into the mobile arena. NetDespatch made its name in hosted booking services for parcels, courier and transport companies. It offers an extensive range of highly customisable services by which users can interact with customers and staff, accepting and tracking consignments via the Internet, and the company has customers throughout Britain and overseas. Whilst NetDespatch has offered mobile capabilities in its portfolio for some time, the new relationship with Cognito extends and consolidates this capability. The two companies say they have been collaborating in research and development for the past six months, and technically NetDespatch now becomes a Cognito accredited partner. According to NetDespatch founder and managing director Becky Clark: 'By incorporating Cognito's mobile solution, we will be able to extend NetDespatch services beyond the office and give easy, instant access via handy pocket-sized PDAs or ruggedised laptops.'. Cognito claims to be the UK's leading managed mobile data solutions provider, and has been growing vigorously since embracing GPRS as its key wireless technology.
