New-generation Nokia phones push PDA convergence forward
The convergence of mobile phones and PDAs continues with the launch by Nokia of a new range of mobiles, which includes the E61 - a model reminiscent of a BlackBerry and other PDA-style devices. Built-in features include multiple mobile email clients (including BlackBerry Connect, GoodLink, Nokia Business Center and others); full attachment handling (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF viewer and ZIP manager); and an editing function (document, spreadsheets and presentations). The new range also includes the E70, a spread-wing design with thumb keyboard either side of a central display, and the 'classic' E60. They all support push-to-talk audio conferencing, voice over IP telephony and tri-band plus 3G connectivity.
