Central trip planning with map&guide PIM upgrade
Central planning of field service visits with mainstream software such as Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes is now possible map&guide 25h, an all-in-one scheduling, routing and contact management system. The new capability is provided by an additional module called Team Manager, introduced with the latest version of the 25h software, which has interfaces to MS Outlook, CAS genesisWorld 7 and IBM Lotus Notes. map&guide 25h adds geographic information to the customer information, contacts and appointments saved in these systems, enabling users to plan sales and service calls. map&guide 25h allows users to create personal profiles of starting points, visits and destinations, and also allows users to generate lists of all customers in their address database, who can then be integrated into weekly schedules. For each suggested appointment the software shows the additional journey time required, and how much time is available for an on-site customer call. The new feature allows much of this information to be marshalled centrally.
