Biggest-ever order as Psion Teklogix improves performance
An order won in recent months by Psion Teklogix to supply 11,550 Workabout Pro handheld computers to SNCF, France's railway operator, was the largest single contract ever won by the company, it says. Psion also reports that the acquisition last June of image capture firm Symagery Microsystems has already contributed significantly to its performance. These are among highlights emerging from the company's annual report, which shows revenues up by 25 per cent to £168.6 million, and operating profit nearly trebling to £9 million.
