Tracking and mobile work management specialist Masternaut has formed a relationship with Dolphin, whose 7900 Windows Mobile-based handheld computers are now available as an integral feature in its Web-based scheduling, vehicle tracking and mobile resource management systems.

The 7900 devices link to Masternaut's M-Schedule, M-OptiTime and M-Delivery despatch systems, playing a role in real-time job booking, despatch and reporting systems.

New jobs pop up on the Dolphin's screen giving route details. With connection to onboard GPS satellite receivers, step-by-step navigation can be provided to the next location, and traffic congestion information can be included too. On arrival at a location, the devices can be used to collect data, images and electronic signatures, live updating central management.
