Job delivery and management solution saves millions of miles
Drive Assist, a company supplying 15,000 replacement cars on short-term hire to the insurance and accident management industry, says a management system provided by TBS could save 3.6 million miles a year, as well as improving efficiency and competitive edge. The TaskMaster system has been integrated with ALK's Co-Pilot Live Navigation solution to provide real-time job allocation to Drive Assist's 500 drivers, plus directions to delivery points. The implementation has just won the Institute of Transport Management's Technology in Fleet Partnership Award 2006.
