Silver service from Seven Eye
Seven Eye, the vehicle tracking and remote temperature monitoring specialist, has gained approval as complying with the installation standards of the Federation of Communication Services. Its conformity is recognised by membership of FCS's Silver Award scheme. The approval covers both telematics systems and in-car phone kits. Unusually, Seven Eye does all its own installation of telematics systems, regardless of where in the country the target vehicles are based. It has a network of its own field-based installation and service engineers. Most telematics suppliers tend to use agents, which are generally of high standard, but may not necessarily be able to offer a uniform level of service everywhere. Seven Eye specialises in bespoke telematics systems, which is one reason why it would be harder for external agents to handle the work. The company also subscribes to the FCS's Customer Charter MPT1362 code of practice, under which it is committed to providing professional and ethical service and complying with the Communications Act 2003.
