All-in tracking from RHA Telecom
A full vehicle tracking and fleet management system is now available through RHA Telecom, an offshoot of the Road Haulage Association providing fixed and mobile communications for members. The system includes unlimited GPS tracking, "snail trail" mapping of past journeys, and other vehicle management tools. Prices start at £19.99 per month, and the on-board GPS "black box" unit is supplied and fitted free of charge. RHA Telecom also provides mobile and landline services. Users of the landline option simply need a BT line. There's no contract and there are no set-up costs. The organisation says some customers are already saving up to 50 per cent on their landline calls. There are periodic offers on some equipment. This summer, for instance, RHA Telecom is offering a Nokia 6230i phone or Motorola V3i Razr for £10.99 a month each.
