Cannon tracks with Seven Eye
Cannon Hygiene, a leading supplier of hygiene-based services in Northern Ireland and mainland Britain, has rolled out a vehicle tracking system from Seven Eye in its Northern Ireland operations. Seventeen vehicles are being equipped with the system. The company says one of its reasons for choosing Seven Eye as its supplier was the fact that the organisation could offer full European mapping systems as standard, unlike some competitors. Cannon says its objectives in introducing a tracking system were twofold. In the words of general manager Caroline McMahon: "The tracking system enables us to keep customers fully updated with progress of their deliveries, as well as giving us an extremely useful tool for managing our vehicle movements and maintaining the highest standards of service to our customers." Morecambe-based Cannon provides a range of services including waste management, pest control, textile care and horticultural services.
