Momote aims to give mobile users a kickstart
A service management starter pack has been launched by mobile applications developer Momote for its MX Platform. This uses XML architecture to facilitate fast design, deployment and support of mobile applications across multiple platforms and on different mobile devices. The company says the starter pack adds common elements of pre-written and tested functionality, making the application development process simpler and quicker. The MX Platform is already in use by various businesses including replacement vehicle window specialist Autoglass and Lewis Day, one of the UK's largest courier and executive car companies. The roll-out to 150 Autoglass technicians is said to have taken just four weeks, and to have streamlined the operation by replacing paperwork with a mobile application capability.
