Smarter navigation from Navicore
Extended, premium-quality digital maps from Tele Atlas and Navteq are a feature of an updated version of the GPS-based navigation software for smartphones offered by Navicore. The company says Navicore Personal 2007 will continue to support all Symbian platforms - including S60 and S80, as well as the new Symbian UIQ 3. In addition, it now supports the new Linux Internet Tablet OS 2006 Edition. The system will also be available as a complete navigation package for Nokia's new 770 Internet Tablet handset. According to Navicore, "Internet enhanced navigation" helps people on the move to access various Internet services directly from the map, and to easily navigate to interesting locations found from the Internet.
