Roll out your office apps on mobiles
If you want to deploy existing software on mobile devices without having to rewrite it, a product called Rapport from Data2go could be what you're looking for. The company says it can be added to any existing business application to make it fully interactive over a PDA. There's no need to redevelop the underlying business application. The technology is based on Microsoft mobile architecture and uses modern communication standards. Features include password protection, user profiles and integration with customers' existing network security methods. Rappot is said to be suitable for any type of application, but to promote quicker take-up the company plans to release a series of "accelerators", designed to pre-configure Rapport ready for many common business applications.
