Operators using the TekSpeech voice-directed warehouse management solution from Psion Teklogix can now analyse the performance of their speech-directed operations.

The company has released a piece of software called a Speech Process Analyzer, which is now available for download from its Web site.

The results are presented via a set of on-screen 'dashboards'. These show a range of key performance indicators covering activities such as lines per hour, walking time and material handling time.

The system works by capturing process data from the TekSpeech application software and the speech terminals. It can display detailed information on users and assignments, and can monitor actual data against reference data. In this way it can provide analysis such as how users have been performing over past month, or how the warehouse performance is affected by a process change.
