Rapid mobile application development from MobileWorxs
MobileWorxs is the name adopted by a new business specialising in rapid application development software and vehicle worker and asset monitoring, which has been set up by Andrew Cahill, previously UK general manager at mobile computer manufacturer Intermec. He says MobileWorxs will provide solutions to help companies improve the effectiveness and responsiveness of their field-based workers. It will provide highly configurable mobile data applications, GPS hardware and what is described as a unique QuickStart change management and support process. Cahill says the company aims to get applications in place 'in days rather than months', adding that it 'will give them a method of addressing multiple applications with the same mobility platform without the need to write custom code.'
