Asset management has been added to the capabilities of the MobileOne mobile data operating platform from Pervasic. The company has announced a system called MobileOne Accelerator Asset Management, which it describes as a feature-rich mobile workforce management solution for field-based asset collection and service management.

It's certainly detailed. Features include planned and unplanned job management, real-time emergency job alerts and status updates, location notes, equipment history, inventory tracking, van/site stock, health and safety checks, standard visit reports, generic and task-specific workplans, job completion, as well as customer signature and questionnaire forms.

Other modules are also available, including asset collection, location and equipment hierarchies, condition reporting, pre and post inspections, tagged photos, materials requisitions, purchase order processing, page printing, TomTom navigation, time sheets and user-defined forms.

The company says the solution can be deployed in about 12 weeks, and reckons the typical return on investment time is 12 months.
