Tracking systems supplier Masternaut is promoting the green credentials of its telematics systems through what it calls its GreenerFleet initiative. This encompasses a range of special tools to help users to lower carbon emissions. Environmental reports display the performance of individual vehicles, drivers and routes, helping managers to select the shortest and most-cost effective routes. Text alerts can be sent automatically to drivers who have been idling for a long time.
