MobileOne suite for fast-response field service

A fully-featured mobile job management application for the 'break-fix' (fast response) market has been launched by Pervasic, a company that already has a strong generic field service product range in this market under the MobileOne name.

The new product takes the form of an 'Accelerator' for the MobileOne suite, automating certain field-based features common to this market, including scheduling, job alerts, status updates and parts and job completion forms.

Core features include responsive and scheduled jobs, real-time emergency job alerts, real-time status updates, complete site/visit history, van/site stock, parts receipt, parts usage, serialised parts, return merchandise authorisations, product-specific forms, job completion, customer signature, as well as remote device management.

There are also other modules handling functions such as parts need, parts shipment, engineering manuals, tagged photos, page printing, TomTom navigation, timesheets, holiday requests and user-defined forms.

 

MobileOne Accelerator Field Service is can be deployed in about 12 weeks, Pervasic says, and it claims it can typically achieve a return on investment within 12 months.
